Service Description

Autistic AAC users often need a different approach to programming, modeling, and support for using their tools and devices. As a support person, you may have experiences one of these: -Your child/student has access to AAC, but it isn't working as well as you think it might. -You are not sure how to best support your user. -You think the app or device that your user has might not be the right one. -The child uses their AAC device, but only for one purpose, and you want to expand use. -You need help setting up systems and resources for supporting your AAC user(s). If any of these are true, I can help! One hour session includes evaluation of current equipment and observation of how AAC is used in the setting, discussion of goals/needs/wants for AAC use, dynamic assessment as needed, and a written summary of recommendations to meet your goals. A second session can be booked for demonstration of recommended strategies and coaching.
